Calling All Baseball Players,
As a long hockey season draws to a close another baseball season gets ready to begin. Once again Walkerton Minor Ball (WMB) will be offering indoor training sessions. These sessions will focus on throwing mechanics, speed, and agility drills to get us warmed up for season ahead.
All training sessions will be held at Mother Teresa School gymnasium. Please bring and indoor pair of running shoes, ball glove, and a positive attitude.

Sessions will be offered as a pay as you play format. Each session will be at a cost of $5 per child with all proceeds going toward the purchase of new equipment for the upcoming baseball season. Sessions held form February 23rd to March 16th will be for all children in the given birth years to work on basic technique. Sessions from March 23rd to April 6th will be open to children who want to be baseball pitchers and catchers. We will be focusing more on the mechanics of pitching and the fine art of catching.

We are looking at having some pitching clinics for softball pitchers depending on the interest in it. If your daughter or son is interested in attending a pitching clinic please let Mike Merchant [email protected]. If we have enough interest we will arrange for this to happen.
