OBA Teams
Submitted By Mike Klein on Sunday, April 2, 2017
Hello Everyone,
This year we are partnering with Hanover again to give our kids a chance to play at the OBA level. Please read the note attached about it.

Dear Parents.   There will be tryouts for Provincial Teams (OBA) at the mosquito and pee wee level starting in April.  OBA teams compete against other OBA teams during the season at tournaments and exhibition games.  The playoffs occur on labor day weekend.

This year the mosquito tournament for B is in Welland,  C is in Essex, and D is in Chatham.   We will not know where we qualify until a bit later.

For Peewee-- B is in Leamington,  C is in Waterdown and D is in Port Dover

Players trying out for OBA teams will need to be able to commit to availability for OBA competition on Labor day Weekend.

Details of tryout times and locations will be available by 2nd week of April.  Depending on weather and diamonds we may have some tryouts indoors.

We will see how that goes.

If you have any questions on OBA play please contact Peter Kritz @ [email protected]   or cell is 519 574 6536

OBA play is a separate cost item for teams and will vary depending on how many tournaments the teams attend.   This is a competitive experience and selections are based on skills at the time of tryouts.

We are not sure yet of OBA teams for other age groups however they are all under consideration depending on interest and coaching availability.

We will also see what interest there is for the Bantam level as well.  If you are interested in Bantam, please let Mike Klein know at [email protected]

More to come on that.
