WMB OBA Try-Outs
WMB will soon be having tryouts for U11 and U13 OBA.
OBA is a rep baseball team that will be playing a handful of exhibition games and a few tournaments over the summer.
OBA is for players who are looking for a little more competition within baseball. If a player plays OBA they still have to play in the WOBA league with Walkerton Minor Ball. There is a year-end tournament with OBA that is the Long Weekend in September. Teams most times need to qualify to make it to this tournament.
The cost of OBA is above the WMB registration fee. Players will split the cost of 1-2 tournaments and 3-4 home games. The cost would approximately be $120-$160 a player, dependent on the number of tournaments and home games. Teams are allowed to seeks out a sponsor to assist with tournament fees.
The cost of OBA tryouts is $20.00, please bring it to the first try-out.
