The Walkerton Capitals played host to the Goderich Seahawks Black on Monday, July 11, 2016.  The game would start off as a pitcher’s duel it would come down to the final inning before a winner was decided.

Pitcher Cody McIntyre started the game by striking out the side in the top of the first.  Not to be out done the Goderich pitcher struck out the Walkerton side 1, 2, 3 in the bottom half.

Walkerton started the second inning and again the Seahawks would only send 3 batters to the plate.  The first would be caught at third base while trying to steal after a line drive into the outfield.  The next two batters would strike out.  Walkerton would send four batters to the plate to face the Goderich pitcher.  Tyler Wallace would come around to score the first run of the game.
